[intrepid-notify] Monday Maintenance, May 19, 2008

Contrary to our previous announcement, the Intrepid system will have its
regularly scheduled Monday maintenance period this coming week.

Maintenance starts:  9:00 a.m. US CDT on Monday, May 19, 2008
Expected end:  5:00 p.m. US CDT on Tuesday, May 19, 2008

During this time:

- no jobs will be run on the system
- there may be disruptions in filesystem access
- there may be disruptions in network access to the login nodes.

During this window, changes will be made to the user environment:

- Critical database system fixes
- Svn upgrade

Please note that there will be another maintenance period beginning
Thursday, May 22, at 8:00 a.m., during which time we will be installing
and testing the new BG/P drivers.

Mail will be sent when the work has been completed and the machines are
again available for general use.  Please send any comments or questions
