[intrepid-notify] Monday Maintenance reminder for November 10, 2008

The Intrepid system will have its regularly scheduled Monday maintenance
period this coming week.

Maintenance starts:  9:00 a.m. US CDT on Monday, November 10, 2008
Expected end:  5:00 p.m. US CDT on Monday, November 10, 2008

During this time:

- there will be no access to the login nodes
- no jobs will be run on the system.

During this window, changes will be made to the user environment:

- eFix 19 installation to fix a problem in which nodes would get in an
  unusable state if a job was killed by the control system
- hardware replacements
- network testing.

Mail will be sent when the work has been completed and the machines are
again available for general use.  Please send any comments or questions
