[intrepid-notify] NOTICE: SC09 Bandwidth Challenge activity

For a 90 minute window tonight (Tue) or tomorrow night (Wed) between 8
PM and midnight, Intrepid and Eureka resources will be allocated for
Bandwidth Challenge activities at SC09. Although the login nodes will
remain open for use, Eureka and Intrepid will be reserved to prevent
competing activity on the filesystem. In addition, GridFTP will be
disabled for all users except those involved in the challenge. We ask
that you avoid any heavy filesystem activity on /intrepid-fs0 during
that time, and plan any GridFTP transfers to happen outside of those
two time windows.

Unfortunately, we still do not have an exact time slot for the
activities, as the BWC committee has not finalized their schedule;
hence the rather broad time windows specified above. As soon as we
have an exact time window from the users involved in the challenge, we
will send an update. The long blocking reservations bwc_block1 and
bwc_block2 will be modified appropriately as soon as we have the
update from the BWC folks.

During the reservation, you may not see jobs running on the system --
this is expected, since the bandwidth challenge activity will be
performing GridFTP transfers to our filesystems.
