*** Array Bounds Check ***
Use the XL compilers to assist in debugging by enabling detection of out-of-bound array indexes using the "-C" flag with the Fortran compiler and the "-qcheck=bounds" flag with the C compiler. *** SciDAC Call for Visualization through June 17 ***
The SciDAC 2011 Conference, the annual Scientific Discovery through Advanced Computing Program, is July 10-14 in Denver. Organizers are soliciting visualizations from Office of Science efforts (SciDAC, INCITE, etc.) for the conference's annual Visualization Night. Submissions will be accepted through June 17. *** ALCF CRYPTOCARD Tokens are Secure ***
You may have read recently about a security breach at EMC's RSA division affecting their SecurID two-factor authentication tokens and EMC's offer to replace the tokens. Please be assured that CRYPTOCARDS issued by the ALCF are not affected by this breach. Furthermore, because CRYPTOCARD tokens are initialized by the ALCF and can be reprogrammed, the impact of an unlikely breach would be limited. If you have further questions, please contact support at alcf.anl.gov. 

*** Intrepid and Eureka, Surveyor and Gadzooks: Maintenance Monday June 13 ***
Routine maintenance will begin at 9 a.m. CDT (14:00 UTC) Monday, June 13. Please watch the "notify" list for projected and actual release times. Please contact support at alcf.anl.gov with questions. 

*** Surveyor Users ***
The /home filesystems on Surveyor are near capacity. Delete unneeded data and move data that doesn't need to be immediately accessible out of /home. We'll even help you. Contact support at alcf.anl.gov.
