*** Prod-devel Moves to Challenger on Monday ***
On Monday, October 31, the prod-devel queue move from Intrepid to Challenger will be complete. At that time, Intrepid will no longer accept prod-devel jobs. To submit to the prod-devel queue, users must log into Challenger. Ensemble jobs using cobalt-subrun will be supported on Challenger for subrun sizes of 64 nodes or larger (the same sizes currently supported on Intrepid). For information about getting started on Challenger, visit: https://wiki.alcf.anl.gov/index.php/Challenger.

*** ALCF Announces User Advisory Council ***
To give ALCF users another avenue of input into the policies and services that shape their experiences at our facility, we have formed a User Advisory Council. For more information, visit: http://www.alcf.anl.gov/about/uac.php.

*** Maintenance Monday: October 31 ***
Routine maintenance kicks off at 9 a.m. CDT (14:00 UTC) on Monday, October 31, for Intrepid, Eureka, Surveyor and Gazooks. The systems will be unavailable during maintenance (no access to login nodes, no jobs will be run on the systems). Please watch the "notify" lists for projected and actual release times.
