*** Ready for the Blue Gene/Q? System Allocations Available through INCITE ***
The open call for 2013 INCITE awards is April 11-June 27, 2012. To be eligible for an INCITE award, your project must demonstrate a high-impact science goal, plus computational readiness and the need for leadership-class supercomputing resources. *** Parallel netCDF Library Updated ***
A version of the Parallel netCDF library (PnetCDF) is now available on Intrepid, Challenger, and Surveyor. The directories 
/soft/apps/current/parallel-netcdf-1.2.0-xl and /soft/apps/current/parallel-netcdf-1.2.0-gnu contain builds for use with the XL and Gnu compilers, respectively. Visit https://www.alcf.anl.gov/resource-guides/intrepid-surveyor-guide/software-libraries for more information. 

*** System Maintenance Monday, March 5 (No Maintenance for Challenger) ***
Intrepid: maintenance starts 13:00 UTC Monday, expected end 05:00 UTC Tuesday. Eureka: maintenance starts 15:00 UTC Monday, expected end 23:00 UTC Tuesday. During maintenance for Intrepid and Eureka, logins will be available, no jobs will run, and there may be disruptions in fileystem access and in network access to the login nodes. For Surveyor and Gadzooks: maintenance starts 15:00 Monday, expected end 23:00 UTC Tuesday. During maintenance for Surveyor and Gadzooks, there will be no access to the login nodes and no jobs will be run on the system. We will send a message to the notify lists when maintenance has concluded. Please direct any questions to support at alcf.anl.gov
