*** Intrepid's Default IBM XL Compiler Versions Updated ***
The August 2012 update of the IBM XL compilers (XL C/C++ 9.0.0.15 and XL 
Fortran 11.1.0.15) is now the default on Intrepid as of Monday, October 
29. Please report any problems to support at alcf.anl.gov. At any time, the 
old version of the compiler may be selected using the softenv key 
"+ibm-compilers-apr2012". For additional instructions on setting the 
compiler version, please see

*** 2013 INCITE Awards Announced: 4.7 Billion Hours to Accelerate 
Discovery, Innovation ***
The U.S. Department of Energy’s (DOE’s) Leadership Computing Facilities 
(LCFs) have awarded a combined 4.7 billion supercomputing core hours to 
61 science and engineering projects with high potential for accelerating 
discovery and innovation through its Innovative and Novel Computational 
Impact on Theory and Experiment (INCITE) program.

We are excited to announce the 2013 Tapia Celebration of Diversity
