*** Use Tape Archive System as Part of Your Data Management Strategy on 
Intrepid ***
ALCF recommends using the tape archive system (HPSS) as part of your 
data management strategy. The ALCF has 16PB (compressed) tape capacity 
for longer-term data storage needs on Intrepid. The two client commands 
with access to HPSS (i.e., hsi and htar) are available on the intrepid 
login node. For further instructions on how to use this resource, please

*** Call for Participation: 2013 Richard Tapia Celebration of Diversity 
in Computing ***
We are excited to announce the 2013 Tapia Celebration of Diversity 
Conference: Call for Participation.  Please share with your networks. 
Note that preference for schoarships will be given to students and 
mentors who present posters, panels, BoFs, or workshops.  Applications 
website is available as of Monday, Oct. 15 and the submission deadline
