*** Intrepid Maintenance Monday ***
Intrepid will have regularly scheduled preventive maintenance this coming week. Maintenance starts at 15:30 UTC on Monday, July 15, and is expected to end at 21:30 UTC on Monday, July 15. During maintenance, no jobs will be run on the systems. Also, there may be disruptions in filesystem access and in network access to the login nodes. We will email users once maintenance is complete and the machines are again available for general use. Please email support at alcf.anl.gov with any questions or concerns. 

*** Run Jobs in a Script to Save Time and Boot Cost ***
Running jobs in a script can save you booting cost and get you through the queue faster. Specifically, if you want to run some 16K jobs that last about 20-30 minutes each, bundle them into a single 16K script job that lasts a few hours. It will get the jobs through the queue faster, and incur less charge.
