*** Routine System Maintenance Monday ***
The Intrepid, Challenger, and Eureka systems will have their regularly scheduled preventive maintenance period this coming week. Maintenance starts at 14:00 UTC on Monday, May 6, and is expected to end at 23:00 UTC on Monday, May 6. During maintenance, there will be no access to the login nodes and no jobs will be run on the system. We will email users when the work is complete and the machines are again available for use. Please email support at alcf.anl.gov with any comments or questions. 

*** Run on Mira to Improve Your Code, Prepare for INCITE ***
Register to attend the Mira Performance Boot Camp (May 21 - 24). This scaling workshop will let you optimize your code for your highest performance numbers in preparation for INCITE. *** Announcing the Argonne Training Program on Extreme-Scale Computing ***
Applications are now being accepted for Argonne's intensive two-week summer training program (July 28 - August 9). Doctoral students, postdocs, and computational scientists interested in conducting CS&E research on large-scale computers are encouraged to apply. The deadline for applying is May 22, 2013. *** ALCF Website Maintenance Moved to Thursdays ***
Website maintenance for www.alcf.anl.gov will now occur weekly on Thursdays at 1 p.m. During this five-minute maintenance window, most users won't notice any downtime, but occasionally you might be presented with a message that says, "Come back shortly."
