*** Upcoming Change to Cobalt Script Jobs ***
During the next scheduled Cobalt upgrade (Wednesday, June 1), a change to Cobalt may affect script-mode jobs. The execution environment that script jobs will receive when started will change to be the default environment for the user who submitted the job at the time the job runs. Previously, script-mode jobs inherited Cobalt's environment when started. Please check that the environment variables you are using in your script-mode jobs are set to expected values after this change. You should also no longer have to source your environment to bring your default environment variables into a script job. For assistance, contact support at alcf.anl.gov.

*** Workshop June 7-9 May Affect System Availability ***
Due to system reservations for the Leap to Petascale workshop (June 7-9), the standard queues on Intrepid those days may be blocked or operating with reduced resources. As a result, consider submitting shorter jobs for better throughput. We will manage the workshop reservations to minimize the impact on production jobs and to meet workshop needs. Please use the 'showres' command for up-to-date information on the size and duration of the workshop reservations. For assistance, contact support at alcf.anl.gov.

*** /home filesystems Near Capacity ***
The /home filesystems on Surveyor and Intrepid are near capacity. Please delete data you no longer need, and/or move data you don't need immediate access to out of /home. For help transferring or archiving data, please contact support at alcf.anl.gov.

*** CHANGE: Maintenance Skips Memorial Day, Next Maintenance is June 1 ***
