Sorry, that was my mistake.  I've gotten so used to git, and it only does 
-u.  I'll create a new patch set for you asap.

That being said, I have used patch on linux systems to apply diffs made 
without -u.  It has always worked fine for me as long as the file to be 
patched is identical to the "old" file in the diff.

The patch seems to have been created with "diff -Nr" instead of "diff 
-uNr". Can someone tell me how this can be applied? I tried patch 
-p[0-4], w/ and w/o --strip, googled, etc., but couldn't find anything. 
Maybe I'm missing something straightforward?
