*** Maintenance Monday: August 22 ***
Routine maintenance kicks off at 9 a.m. CDT (14:00 UTC) on Monday, August 22, for Intrepid, Eureka, Surveyor and Gazooks. The systems will be unavailable during maintenance. Please watch the "notify" lists for projected and actual release times. 

*** Intrepid Users: Have data to archive? Use HPSS. ***
HPSS is a data archive and retrieval system that manages large amounts of data on disk and robotic tape libraries. It provides hierarchical storage management services that allow it to migrate data between those storage platforms. *** Temp Storage Auto-deletion Policy Now Active ***
The automated process for removing files from the /tmp and /scratch directories on all login and data analytics processing nodes (i.e., Eureka and Gadzooks) is active. If you need help finding alternate local storage, please contact support at alcf.anl.gov.

*** Surveyor Quota Starts Monday, August 22 ***
To more effectively manage our limited disk space, space quotas will be enabled on Monday, August 22. If you exceed your limit, you will be unable to write to the file system until space is freed. Quota limits may be negotiated in cases of demonstrated need. To view your current storage usage and quota limit, enter "mmlsquota". In the "Block Limits" section, the column labeled "KB" shows the current usage in kilobytes and the column labeled "limit" shows the quota limit in kilobytes. File limits will not be enforced.
