[intrepid-notify] Final INCITE Guidance Re: Available Mira Hours

The INCITE 2013 Open Call ends tomorrow June 27, 2012. If you are submitting a proposal that includes a request for resources at the Argonne Leadership Computing Facility (ALCF), please remember that the ALCF expects Mira, our Blue Gene/Q system currently being installed, to be available in the first half of 2013. We encourage you to write your proposal planning on a total available pool of about 2-3B core-hours and provide plans for a pool of about 1.5B and 768M (the number currently committed). Before we allocate projects we will decide on the total that we will commit to delivering to projects. If you have questions or need assistance, please contact your Catalyst or Richard Coffey, director of user experience, at richardc at alcf.anl.gov.
