[surveyor-notify] Special maintenance period, Monday, Dec. 13 2010, logins disabled

The Surveyor and Gadzooks systems will have a special maintenance period this coming week in order for us to perform critical filesystem maintenance.  Please note that Intrepid and Eureka will remain available as usual during this time.

Maintenance starts:  09:30:00 US Central Time on Monday, Dec. 13 2010
Expected end:  13:30:00 US Central Time on Monday, Dec. 13 2010

During this time:

- there will be no access to the login nodes
- no jobs will be run on the system.

Mail will be sent when the work has been completed and the machines are again available for general use.  Please send any comments or questions to support at alcf.anl.gov.
