*** ALCF Website Revamp Brings Improvements ***
Later this month, the ALCF will roll out its much-anticipated new and improved website. The site will include a variety of new user-focused features, including a live machine status, organized user manuals, user announcements, a better search function, and more. Part of the revamp initiative includes the consolidation of wiki and web content to the new website. As a result, beginning Monday, November 7, visits to the external ALCF wiki will be redirected to the new website Resources Guide, where you will have access to the same information previously available on the wiki, but in an architected and searchable format. If you have questions about this information, please contact support at alcf.anl.gov.

*** Challenger is Now Handling Prod-Devel ***
Prod-devel was moved to Challenger on October 31. As a result, Intrepid no longer accepts prod-devel jobs. To submit to the prod-devel queue, users must log into Challenger. Challenger is now in full production and will follow the same maintenance practices, procedures and schedule as Intrepid. For information about getting started on Challenger, visit: https://wiki.alcf.anl.gov/index.php/Challenger.

*** Intrepid Now Runs 40K Jobs Outside Reservations ***
With the move of prod-devel to Challenger, Intrepid can now run 40K node and 24K node jobs outside a reservation. It is still the user's responsibility to ensure that code is properly tested prior to execution. For information on scheduling policies, visit: https://wiki.alcf.anl.gov/index.php/Job_Scheduling_Policy.

*** Heading to SC11? Check Out the BG/Q Activities and Visit the Argonne Booth ***
