Beginning 27 October 2008 the ALCF will enforce allocations
automatically at the time of job submission. Each job submitted will
be required to have an allocation that is active (i.e., not expired)
at the time of submission for the machine on which the job is run.
Also, pilot projects will no longer be available after 27 October
2008.

If this affects you, you have already received a separate
notification regarding what steps to take in order to be able to
submit jobs after 27 October 2008. Submit-time warnings have been, and
continue to be, active, providing warning messages in the event that a
submitted job would not be able to run after 27 October 2008.

The cbank command, available on both Surveyor and Intrepid, can be
used to verify your available projects and allocations. Run 'cbank
projects' to obtain a list of your available projects, and 'cbank
allocations' to obtain a list of your active allocations (with
expiration dates).

If you have any questions or concerns, please contact support at alcf.anl.gov.
