Also, will the license terms on the code you are contributing be similar to
the existing MPICH2 license so that we can redistribute it with MPICH2? If
we need to go through any process for that, it will take time. So far, with
1 or 2 exceptions, we have been accepting patches on an informal basis, so
we don't have a contributor's license agreement in place.

Would you prefer a patch to enable BlueGene (DCMF) support based on
1.0.7rc1, and then release version 1.0.7rc2, followed by release 1.0.7 ?  Or
do you prefer a patch based on 1.0.7 to be included in a future release
(perhaps 1.0.7p1, or 1.0.8) ?
